Note: This article follows previous articles detailing the vision of the LE7EL network and its tokenomics, consider reading those first!
At LE7EL, our journey towards building an open, interconnected metaverse of diverse, interconnected games & worlds, is fueled by a short term roadmap that revolves around a few key pillars.
1) Embracing our vision, tokenomics and roadmap together as a community
Our first step is fostering transparent communication. We’re devoted to articulating and aligning our vision, tokenomics and roadmap with our community, and invite all stakeholders to be part of a constructive debate. What we build is not just a concept; it’s already an evolving reality. We believe in the power of collective understanding and collaboration, ensuring that every stakeholder comprehends and contributes to the bigger picture.
2) Growing the community
Without a large, diverse and powerful community, we have already lost the battle against centralized competitors. The way we’re able to compete and win over Meta, Roblox and other giants is that we’re the power of hundreds of thousands of people — in all corners of the world — playing, building and creating on our decentralized infrastructure and open source code, while each owning their part of the network through the $L7L token. The bigger the community, the more players, creators, operators and contributors are going to add value to and grow the network. That’s why we make it our highest priority going forward to grow the community, through integrations, collaborations, partnerships, AMAs, tournaments, quests and other means.
2) Pre-sale (IDOs) & Exchange Listing
Our plan includes several IDOs followed by a public listing of the $L7L token on exchanges accompanied by staking incentives, to provide accessibility, utility and liquidity of the token, fostering wider participation within our ecosystem.
We’re excited to announce IDOs on the following platforms:
The IDOs will take place Q3 2024, or as soon as altcoins experience a significant uptick in volumes.
TGE will happen shortly after these IDOs, on at least one centralized exchange, and one decentralized exchange — with names & dates to be announced.
3) DGP (Decentralized Game Publishing) Protocol Launch
At this point, when we’ll have a solid community and a live working product the priority should shift towards putting the product in the hands of as many actual users as possible, and gradually integrate $L7L as a utility token as outlined in our tokenomics. That’s not only how we achieve and retain product-market fit long term, but also how $L7L will establish a solid demand side and survive even the worst bear markets.
Thus, seeking out and establishing relationships with ambitious creators across various domains — be it within gaming, art, history, retail, real estate, HR, education, or even healthcare — is pivotal to the success of our network. Understanding their unique needs and aspirations for creating worlds and use cases within the LE7EL network is fundamental to our success. When creators are empowered to make great virtual experiences for their users and communities, the players and operators will follow, and the network as a whole will grow.
The technology we plan to leverage to onboard solid creators, games and worlds to the LE7EL network, is the DGP Protocol. Creators will be able to use this protocol to bootstrap tools, users and capital for their game, while earning $L7L from the Creator stakeholder pool. NFT holders will on their side be able to review, vote and commit capital to games & worlds they believe in while earning $PXP for their contributions.
4) Onboarding contributors around core needs
After a successful TGE and DGP Protocol launch, the next step would be to onboard additional contributors who resonate with our vision and possess the skills necessary to address the diverse needs that we have identified through engaging with the different kinds of creators mentioned above. Onboarding contributors based on these core needs ensures that our development remains focused, responsive, and tailored to the actual demands of the rapidly evolving metaverse landscape.
5) Continuous development and integrations
Upon onboarding additional key contributors, we’re committed to enhancing our protocols and tools continuously based on actual user needs to ensure a seamless, robust, and user-friendly environment for all network stakeholders. We will also continue to integrate with other products and ecosystems where it makes sense.
6) End to end decentralization
To achieve end-to-end decentralization of the network, we plan to incrementally decentralize the following four parts:
- Code
- Ownership
- Servers
- Governance
Most of our code is already open source. The ownership is in process, as players and investors have been earning and buying the $L7L token over the past few months, and even more so when we add creator, contributor and operator rewards. As for servers, we’re doing a gradual transition, with the first step being migration away from AWS over to our own hardware — which is now complete — before the plan is to onboard a network of server operators across the globe making us sufficiently decentralized and censorship resistant. Finally, the governance is the last step to be decentralized, enabling NFT holders to govern the network.
